worked on this painting over a year ago.  thought it was finished back then.  one evening in the studio, after an arduous physical session with a large painting, i sat in my rocking chair to rest.  my eyes wandered over the plethora of paintings that covered the walls, works in process and completed.  this painting fell under scrutiny.   i saw a new direction to take it and this is the new and improved version of impetuous.
